The Challenge:
Wing King is an independent student film directed and produced by Chapman University Film students. The film follows an 18-year-old legacy wing-eating champion who realizes that his true calling lies in pie-eating. Wing King must present a united aesthetic to promote awareness and gain monetary support.

Wing King must present a united aesthetic to promote awareness and gain monetary support.
My Approach:
The visual aesthetics and setting of this film had the happy coincidence of being very similar to my own hometown, so I pulled a lot of inspiration from the visual aesthetics I observe in my day-to-day life. From a design stand point, this meant utilizing warm tones, vintage typography, and hand-made textures to cultivate a worn, lived-in experience.
